I’m Fine is an experimental poster series visually showing what it’s like to live with mental illness. Information was gathered from various friends, family members, coworkers, classmates and social media followers who have experience mental illness during
their lifetime, asking them to describe what it feels like to live with their mental illness(s) in seven descriptive words or less.

The descriptive words were then paired with a specific design restraint to work around during the experimentation process in order to give a unique visual combination to each design. Each poster is
tied to a different set of emotions and although some posters have similar emotions, no poster is exactly the same, tying back to the idea that every person experiences things differently.

The overall idea of this series is to visually show something intangible and often hard to understand. There are currently six posters in this series, but this is a project I hope to continue and expand in the future.
